Resort park

For the second century in a row Truskavets Park has been pleasing the visitors with the unique beauty of its nature. It was founded within the framework of the program of improvement of the adjoining area for the guest walks in the hydropathic clinic (in 1895). The small trails and paths for 8 years have turned into 14 km of paths for leisurely walks. They began in the center of the city, connecting the sources of mineral waters "Sofia", "Mary", "Bronislav", "Yuzya", connected with a large circle alley. Beautiful buildings and healing springs have survived up to this day. The well-planned Truskavets park is named after Adamivka (a small square in the park named after Adam Sapieha, a Polish aristocrat, politician and priest). A new turn in the development of the park begins in 1908. Transportation traffic on the Boulevard Torosevich has been banned (built ring road). The amenity of the resort zone has intensified. 4 terraces of the forest park turned into landscape zones in the English style. In the landscape design used local trees (poplar, oak, ash, fir) and exotic breeds, delivered from warm regions (boxwood, planta, vinegar tree).
